A New Universal Atlas By H.S. Tanner ... Philadelphia, Published By The Author. 1836.

This atlas was published by Tanner to reach a broader market (i.e. less expensive) than his earlier large format American Atlas, with smaller pages and expanded coverage of non American areas. It was first issued in parts, beginning in 1834.
To View the Map: Just click the Image to view the map online. In order to make the Image size as small as possible they were save on the lowest resolution. If you order an image they are printed at the highest resolution. (Images are between 500k and 1.5 meg so loading may be slow if using a dial-up connection)
